Great service! Steve knows what he’s doing. His replacement parts are original Apple authentic with serial numbers. I felt very confident that I was given the real deal. I was there for maybe half hour. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell takes great pride in his work. Glad I found this place. Prices very reasonable and service is with a smile. My phone (iPhone 5s) screen committed suicide the other day and I brought it here the next morning. I couldn’t have had a better experience; Steve looked at it right away and told me he’d be able to fix it in 20 minutes.
As he repaired it, I complained about the declining quality of apple products… the screen on my 4s had been significantly worse and I was still able to use it without problem. Steve explained that the screen on my current phone wasn’t authentic and asked if it was refurbished. I told him it was (my previous 5s was a victim of drowning in a toilet) and he told me that insurance companies use cheap replacements on their refurbished phones. When he opened my phone up, he was able to show me different things in the mechanics that were done poorly and assured me that I’d notice a huge difference with the authentic iPhone screen. I learned a lot in my short trip at SDIGITAL and will likely never go through my phone insurance company ever again.
He also threw a tempered glass on top of my screen for an additional $10. This way, if I drop my phone again and it causes damage, I won’t ruin the screen itself. The tempered glass can be removed and replaced. I wish I’d known about this earlier and am very grateful for the new knowledge.
One piece of advice: the website wasn’t updated to reflect the current prices. The site said $65 for a new screen but, when I went to the store, Steve told me it was $90. This is because apple stopped making screens for the 5s a couple of weeks ago, which makes sense. He ended up giving me a deal and my total was $90 with the tempered glass, so I’m satisfied.
I’ll definitely be going back to Steve and will be recommending him to all my friends. Steve is fair, honest, knowledgeable, friendly… can’t really ask for better customer service.
My iPad got wet, I was sure it was ruined. I left it in rice overnight but it still wouldn’t turn on. I gave up but my son told me to take it to SDigital. I am very impressed by this store, they are very professional and honest. They offered to take a look with no guarantees they could fix it. I took them up on the offer and they called me within 20 minutes with an estimate, $70 to get my iPad up and running. Of course I opted for the fix. My iPad works as well as when it was brand new. SDigital saved me over $350, the cost of a new one as I live on my device
I cracked me phone badly yesterday. It was completely destroyed and had those scary purple and blue lines up and down the screen. I took it to SDIGITAL at 11am on a Wednesday and was immediately seen. Stephen fixed my phone in about ten minutes and it was relaxing and stress free. I can’t recommend him enough. The customer service here was excellent. Stephen even threw in and installed a hard plastic screen protector. The Apple issued new screen, installation and the screen protector were $110. There’s also a two month warranty on the screen.
Go here if you have a phone emergency in Astoria. Even if you’re in the city, it may be worth the trip.

My iPhone 6s screen was broken. After looking around and messaging some businesses on Yelp I found SDIGITAL. In all honesty I chose this spot because they were the cheapest and close to home. The customer service was excellent. The gentleman fixed my screen right in front of me in minutes. I also mentioned that my rear camera stoped working. While he repaired my screen he also looked into my camera issues and fixed it at no extra charge. I would highly recommend them.
Stephen is the TRUTH! You can tell someone who truly loves what he does and we are the beneficiaries of it! I came to him with 2 IPHONE 6PLUS with cracked screens that my wonderful children blessed me with. One of them was damaged so bad that it would not turn on but he was determined to find out why and he did!
Stephen sits down with you and explains the best economical options. His work table is right in front of you and his mannerism is warm and professional at the same time. I HIGHLY recommend him for any and ALL cell phone repair needs. He also does some PC repair and i can not imagine it being anything less.
